The Rwanda Development Board (RDB), through the Office of the Registrar General, has extended the deadline for companies to file their annual returns and annual accounts.
The original deadline of 31 July 2026 has been extended to 30 September 2026, following requests from companies that were unable to meet the initial deadline.
What Companies Need to Know
All affected companies are encouraged to use the additional time to complete and submit their required annual returns and annual accounts before 30 September 2026.
The filings must be completed electronically through the RDB online portal. Companies that fail to comply by the extended deadline may be subject to the applicable penalties prescribed by law.
Act Early to Stay Compliant
Businesses should avoid waiting until the final days of September. Reviewing corporate records, preparing the required financial information and submitting filings early can help prevent last-minute challenges.
